Dieser zweiteilige Blockkurs richtet sich an Magistranden, Doktoranden und Postdocs des Münchner Forschungsschwerpunktes „Arabische Massenmedien“ sowie an weitere Interessierte aus Arabistik und Islamwissenschaft, Publizist- und Medienwissenschaft und benachbarten Gebieten. Wir besprechen ausgewählte mündliche und/oder schriftlich vorliegende Quellentexte zu Zensur und Selbstzensur aller Art besonders aus Presse, Fernsehen und Internet und diskutieren die neueste Literatur. Ein besonderes Schwergewicht liegt auf der Vorstellung laufender Projekte.
