My doctoral study "The Intersection of Language, Culture, and Identity in the Turkish TV Series 'Muhteşem Yüzyıl' (The Magnificent Century) and its Reception in Ukraine" aims to investigate the complex interplay between language, culture, and identity in the context of the Turkish TV series "Muhteşem Yüzyıl" and its reception in Ukraine. By analyzing the linguistic features, cultural representations, and identity narratives within the series, this research explores how language use and cultural expressions contribute to the construction and negotiation of individual and collective identities. Furthermore, the study examines the reception and impact of the series on the Ukrainian audience, exploring how it shapes their perception of language, culture, and identity. Through a multidisciplinary approach, this research aims to provide insights into the intricate relationship between language and identity, shedding light on the cultural dynamics of Turkish-Ukrainian media interactions.
