Jahrhundert, Zeitgeschichte, Geschichtsschreibung, Gender-Forschung, indigene Bevölkerungen des Osmanischen Reiches und der Türkei, Geschichte der Bauern und Landwirtschaft, Armenierinnen und Armenier, Interkonfessionelle Verhältnisse (Armenisch - Griechisch - Assyrisch - Kurdisch - Türkisch) und Rechtssysteme im Osmanischen Reich, Armenische Kirchenrecht, Wissenschaftsgeschichte, Postkoloniale Theorie, Methodologie, West Armenische sowie Armeno - Türkische Literatur und Quellenkunde.
