The Pauline Epistles in Arabic: Their Manuscripts, Versions, and Transmission.

The old translations of the Bible into Arabic are fascinating. I love to read through them and find out how they traveled throughout the centuries and the denomination barriers. These translations are texts, travelling in a vehicle that is a manuscript or early print, through the hands of translators and scribes in different historical contexts. My research then has a philological-historical approach that takes the text of the Arabic Bible as its point of departure to investigate the broader historical picture of its translations.
