Zaydoun Hajjar, a Palestinian/Jordanian assistant researcher at the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies since late 2014. Currently based in Beirut, working on an MA degree in Migration Studies at the Lebanese American University. Research interests revolve around refugees, migration.
Project: “Palestinians in Lebanon: From Behind Social Bars”. His current project is based in a Palestinian camp in Lebanon (Shatilla), it aims at drawing a picture of the Palestinian lives inside the camps in the midst of restrictive public policies towards them, through interviews with camp residents. While shedding light on the extent of how much the situation coincides with the experiences of prisoners in Lebanon specifically in “Roumieh” prison.
