Elie El Khoury is a Lebanese employee in the humanitarian sector with Handicap International and a student M.A in Migration Studies at the Lebanese American University. Elie has been working in the humanitarian sector since 2014 and was previously working as an economic researcher in the Lebanese Center for Information and Studies.
He participated in several projects that embodied local and international actors on topics related to foreign workers and refugees’ economic and social challenges in Lebanon. Recently, he has enrolled in the “Violence, Forced Migration and Exile: Trauma in the Arab World and in Germany” DAAD project.
His research interests revolve around the disciplines of economics and sociology.
